Nina MolinPHYSICIAN OF INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

As a physician of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Molin interfaces the sciences of nutrition and lifestyle with internal medicine and the wisdom of the ancient traditions of Ayurveda so her clients can regain and maintain health and sustain long lasting vitality and joy.

Dr. Molin, board certified in both Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine and a Fellow of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine Interprofessional Fellowship in Integrative Health & Medicine is presently offering consultations in Primary Care and Integrative Medicine at Berkshire Osteopathic Health of Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. She was a staff physician at Canyon Ranch in Lenox for 13 years where she lectured and consulted in many areas including Integrative Medicine, Preventive Medicine and Ayurveda. She has been featured in the 2003 PBS special “Live Younger Longer: The Canyon Ranch Guide to Good Health and Well-Being” and has been a two time guest on The Joan Hamburg Show (WOR-NY). She has offered seminars on health in the community including The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. Dr. Molin served the community as a volunteer physician at Berkshire Volunteers in Medicine and through her former practice, Ananda Health®, offering consultations, lectures and workshops in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda.

MEDICAL AND COMPLEMENTARY EDUCATION

A veteran of both private and academic practice in the Berkshires since 1995, Dr. Molin is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine, with post-graduate training in Internal Medicine-Primary Care from the University of Rochester, NY.  Dr. Molin is presently a Fellow in the Integrative Medicine Fellowship of The Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.  She has served as Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr Molin is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Amherst where she received a B.A. in Anthropology and The Bronx High School of Science in NYC.

She is a graduate of The Institute of Functional Medicine and has trained with renowned Herbalists and instructors of Ayurveda throughout the country.

A student of Ayurveda since early 1990’s, in 2002, Dr. Molin read The Path of Practice by Maya Tiwari, founder of the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda and has been practicing and teaching Wise Earth Ayurveda® ever since.
